The  School Counseling Department's goal is to ensure that all students regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, and learning ability will have equal access to a School Counselor and will receive the services that will strengthen their academic, career, and social emotional well being so they can become strong decision makers and productive citizens.

Calvin Williams, MSW, PPSC
​​School Counselor

Mr. Calvin is a graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills with a Master of Social Work and PPS/CWA Credential. He has over 8 years of experience working with children, youth, families and schools as a Milieu Counselor, Social Work Intern, Site Coordinator with Reading Partners, Americorps Member (Literacy/Math Interventionist), College Bound Counselor, and Preschool Teacher Aide. As a School Counselor, Mr. Calvin is dedicated to supporting students' goals and empowering them to achieve their academic, personal, career, social, college and life aspirations. Ms. Ramirez, M.A Ed., PPSC
School Counselor 

Ms. Ramirez is a graduate of Concordia University, Irvine with a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Ms. Ramirez has over three years of experience working with children as a Special Education Paraprofessional, Substitute Teacher and School Counseling Intern. As as School Counselor at TAT, Ms. Ramirez is dedicated in providing academic, college & career, and social emotional support to all students.
